January 5th 2015-January 9th. K-3rd Lesson Plans: Jan Brett Author Study part 1

Is it really 2015, already? Christmas went by in a blur! It was a mixture of great and not-so-great. I got shingles of all things, then a sinus infection right after. We still haven't had Christmas with our extended family. :) But, as a homeschooler who only buys her kids stuff on holidays, it was super fun. One got a telescope and a pocket microscope. One of my boys got drums and another a bass guitar, which basically makes a band since my oldest is a pretty good guitar player, singer and song writer. We have new games and puzzles, books, and lots of stuff to keep them busy on the weekends and after school. I'm a little excited too about our outside toys, such as a basketball goal, a baseball hitting trainer, and scooters and skateboards for everyone. As a mom who is so busy, just getting to sit outside and not HAVE to entertain everyone is SOOOO nice! Happy New Year to everyone, I hope your holiday was just as great, with lots of health and learning in our upcoming year. May we all remember to write the new date. :)

As always, please leave comments on the blogs I resource, please leave feedback on the TPT site when you download. These teachers do us all a great favor by sharing with us!
