This is our complete week-being a four day week and 30 min Friday morning:
Subjects included are: Geography, Spanish, French, Language Arts, Math, Science and Good Citizenship and memorization/copy work.

Really excited about this post! We are at the point in our homeschool journey where everyone is almost a proficient reader. I do have one who needs some extra one-on-one time and they will get that now that the others will be more independent. We did some major school at home type curriculum at the beginning of the year. It was pretty intense, but it paid off.
And now--with the purchase of 6 kidle fires--one for each kid, my day will get even easier. It means I will have much more time for writing, which is really exciting for me. This post will be about our kindles, the new schedule and my plan for the week. I plan on being as eclectic as ever, and pull from every source I've used over the years.
All of my kids will still have daily math and reading assignments. My oldest two are still using Teaching textbooks for math, while the littles will use the kindle as well as mini lessons with me on new concepts. I am adding individual creative writing with me, where I will go over editing their stories. I think this will help with a lot of grammar and sentence structure concepts. Each of my little one's will now have independent reading time where they all work on separate books tailored to their individual reading levels.
About our new breaks:
I am basing these frequent breaks on the Finland model of 45 min lessons, then 15 min breaks. I think this is really going to help my ADD kid and refresh the others. I will try to makes these outdoor times, but indoor breaks are okay too if it's not possible. We are going to get a lot more Vit D!
About Handwriting and Copywork:
I didn't get rid of these. I am moving them to our 'Fourth week,' where handwriting and copywork will be done 10 min each on those days.

I chose these simply because they were doing the 35dollar deal with buy 5 get the 6th free. So glad I got these and not the kids edition. Some of the apps I am using reportedly don't work with the kids, which doesn't make a lot of sense, considering they are kid apps. But good for me for choosing right. :)
These accomplish quite a lot for us. First: books! My kids are hard on physical books, not to mention you can carry a library with you. There are tons of free books and our library has kindle books to check out, which is really convenient. No more library fines--and I always have library fines~
We can do many of our lessons on it, and use less paper and ink!
We ca also use it all at once. They will still occasionally need to use the laptop, but not as frequent.
My only issue, I think it really stinks that there is no youtube app. We will have to go through their browser and bookmark youtube to get to it. Not a huge issue, but still would be nice to have.
About Mobymax:
Some tips--Sign up online here. I wouldn't sign up through the app. It is free and if you check 'homeschool' you will get 5 students able to sign up. If you have more than 5, you would need to sign up for the pro Teacher for $99. I will def come back and give a review in a few weeks. Once you are signed up, add your students to the roster by clicking on the 'backpack' picture on the home button. On that same screen there is a school code that you are given. Use this on the app to sign your child in. It is very easy! If you have any issues, feel free to leave me a message, I don't mind helping out.
